| I think I scared him away But yeah, conditions to have a custom title vary from member to member, that's what makes it special ! Konnie got it because he made various funny photomontages of us, Kami because she wrote a few silly articles on the board, Eol because he managed to post a thousand times... Of course, Myaah and I just got ours because we are narcissistic creatures, but that's another story ! _________________ Et toi, que vas-tu faire pour sauver la planète ?

| Wow... this time difference is killing me on the board. I get home and everything's new! Oh well. Well I'm excited that I've already sort-of earned a title! I've moved up in the feudal world! Yessssssss! Maybe I should try flattery more often! Of course, I do hope that someday I can go beyond a simple farmer (~looks out the window hopefully~). |

| Congrats You'll get a cooler custom title if you make up your mind about what you want, or once I'll get to know you better if inspiration strikes me (but... that can be dangerous !). Anyway yeah... we got a little talkative last night ! _________________ Et toi, que vas-tu faire pour sauver la planète ?

| Yeah, and I'm exhausted just because of that. I've got to go sleep earlier Still, I'm glad to post on the forum, don't worry ^__^ _________________ If you see something darker than my heart, it is my soul...

| Hey, I'm excited that you guys have an English section! Otherwise I wouldn't have joined. As fun as French is, I just don't think I could keep up. Hopefully I'll be able to re-learn French, and maybe get even better! Et merci beaucoup pour tes compliments, Konnie! Si tu ne parles pas complique, alors je peux comprendre. J'espere que tu peux me comprendre! (Je n'ai pas parle francais pour quatre ans! ) I'm curious about the meaning behind everyone's titles. How did you all get them, and what do they mean? Stef mentioned some of the stories before, but I'd like a more detailed response. |

| Don't worry, I know I would never try joining a... spanish board for instance I studied that in high school, can still decipher it a little, and royally suck at writing/talking it From the little I've seen, your French is actually quite good though ! Regarding the titles, I'll let everyone answer for themselves Mine means "dragon knight" literally, though in this particular case, it would be more like "dragonrider". Comes from Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern novels, I don't know if you know anything of them Myaah and I are both big fans of the first novel in the series, Dragonflight. And we especially love the main character, F'lar. He's a dragonrider, and even apart from him, dragonrider's such a cool fantasy job that... _________________ Et toi, que vas-tu faire pour sauver la planète ?

| Well mine is English, so I bet you can unterstand what it means ;) Stef and I often call each other like this when the other one needs support^^ It just show how classy, great and... narcissic we can be ^__^ _________________ If you see something darker than my heart, it is my soul...

| I think we all need great nicknames to boost our self-esteem once in a while! I'd like it if my rommates called me "Queen of the World", but they aren't real fond of the idea... I wonder why not. |

| I'm sure you can convince them. We did end up calling Myaah our beloved Great Mistress, so it's definitely possible... But I'm sure we have all had some stranger and not so flattering nicknames... one of mine was the Sick Turtle (well "sick" would be a literal translation, but in French the world "enrhummée" was a play on words, meaning both "having a cold" but also "drunk with rum"!) How about you guys? _________________ Et toi, que vas-tu faire pour sauver la planète ?

| I've never really had any nicknames. Once I was the Kamikaze Nerd... I'm not sure how to translate that into French. A nerd (loosely defined) is someone who studies all the time, and that is definitely me . "Kamikaze" is actually a reference to the Japanese pilots in World War II who would commit suicide by crashing their planes into their target. So the name came during finals week when my friends and I were all really stressed out. I wouldn't really consider committing suicide because of that, but it was a funny nickname. Other than that... I was the Game Master once! I would have games on my answering machine and people would try to guess the answer. The person who got the most points at the end of the school semester would get a prize! I think "Link's Betrothed" would be a good one for me! |

| Bet you would like that one to be your custom title, heh! And do not worry about the kamikaze nerd thing. We use both words in French We borrow a lot from English as I'm sure you're aware of, especially when you mix young people and things related to video games and computers! _________________ Et toi, que vas-tu faire pour sauver la planète ?
