Well then, by all means, DO play it, and play the hell out of it!

I've fallen in love with the game, I think I rank it high up there with Resident Evil 4 and Zelda Wind Waker as one of the best experiences offered by this generation of gaming systems. I have to warn you, it's a very peculiar game, and if the magic doesn't work on you, you'll probably think it's not that cool. But if you fall under its spell... you will fall hard!
The atmosphere is incredible. The design and soundtrack take you away and bring you right into the game's world as simply as that. The only goal of the game is to fight and vanquish 16 colossi. Those duels are pretty amazing in themselves, colossi being well... colossi, that is giants

Two hits from a giant sword can kill you, their feet stomping around can crush you, and yet you have to figure out a way to climb on them and trounce them. Each time, you'll have to understand the trick to how to beat this particular colossus, and then... just do it

It makes for epic battles.
In between that... well, it's just you and the world. SotC's world is huge, and devoid of human life. In fact, apart from you and Agro (your horse

), you will not see a soul except a few wild animals. Small and inoffensive. But the scenery... it's breathtaking. Forests, plains, waterfalls, green fields as far as the eye can see... the game as it all, and you can explore it all as much as you like. Without a single loading time. It's like Ocarina of Time's Hyrule Fields, except it's a whole world, and it's big. Riding through the land is a unique experience, both peaceful and beautiful. I have spent many an hour just exploring, discovering new places, each more beautiful than the last. It's very contemplative, but in a very great way.
Anyway, I'll stop there for now since I've been rambling for a while already

Give it a try, it's worth it ^__^
